I am writing this to let the public know that there is a website which is using paintings, illustrations and photographs without asking permission regardless of copyright. It may not be the whole picture that they are using but parts of a picture.
Artists be aware!
The internet is a useful tool but this is an example of how dangerous it can be especially when it comes to people's livelihoods.

We need as many signatures as we can get to stop this hineaous infringement. People have signed from many countries but the more people sign the sooner this problem of copyright ignorance will be tackled.

you know what everyone can just get over polyvore "stealing" their pictures because if they didnt want them taken they shouldn't have put them on the internet..polyvore is not saying that these pictures are theirs anyways its just a simple way of putting expression into the sets
look Polyvore is a great advertising site and if you shut it down there goes business for some company's. 1st off Polyvore does have copyright rules. so what your picture was clipped to the site now more and more people can see your creations. thats good publicity for your business. 2nd if your child was on this site and haveing fun and making friends well channeling there inner confidence would you want it shut down? 3rd if you dont want people to see it DONT put it online. duh! and for all you writing saying take Polyvore down you obvioulsy did not try it out. if you did make a set you would see how much fun it really is. polyvore isnt meant to cause problems all it is there for is to let young people and older people channel the creativity that they have stuck inside them!!
so if you take it down well there goes creativity and you have now just pissed off a bunch of people!!

ohmygod you don't know what polyvore means. polyvore is about expressing your feelings, being happy with yourself. stuff like that. you should be happy people are using your images. if you're not, then you're just a bitch, trying to crush teenage girls' feelings.
